About Me
Roy Horton, Pre-Licensed Professional

I care. I will listen and work to understand your unique issues. Together, we can find solutions to meet your needs and resolve your concerns. Often unresolved childhood issues prevent us from moving on or we struggle in relationships. This may be the time to explore those things that are preventing you from having a deeper sense of satisfaction in life. I encourage you to reach out and connect with me. I am happy to discuss your concerns or issues that are troubling you.

My training is in relational psychotherapy, and so the focus in therapy is based on our relationships with ourselves, others and even with the ways we cope with the day to stresses in life.

My desire is to communicate to my clients the value they have as unique individuals and to enable them to come understand their uniqueness.

You can improve your life.

Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes presents us with experiences that are difficult to cope with or understand. If you feel that you are lacking inner joy, relational therapy can help you find it.

Talking can help you heal.

When you encounter setbacks in life, are you unsure what to do? The reality is, the expectations you have of where your life is headed can be turned upside down without warning. When that happens, who do you go to? Finding someone to walk with you as you recover the joy you want in life is an important search.

Relational psychotherapy can provide clarity and support.

Relational psychotherapy offers a solution for the times when you feel suddenly out of your depth, and don’t feel equipped to know what steps to take. I’m a therapist who won’t rush you or pressure you to take steps you’re not ready to take. My philosophy and approach is one of calm caring that looks carefully at the issues and thinks deeply about the best approach to take.

Consider a first meeting.

My background has taught me the value of using tools that are the best for the job, and the willingness to try something else if that will do the job more effectively. Your success will be measured when you feel that joy in your life is genuine and accessible Where your resilience is strengthened, and your anxiety diminished. Together, let’s work to find that inner joy. It is achievable.
